What ExperiaView is

A board where businesses post short video gigs and people film them on their phones. ExperiaView runs the board, handles the money, and reviews what goes on it. We are not the business, and we are not your employer.

If you film clips

  • You must be 18+ and in the United States.
  • What you film must be yours: your face, your words, your home. Don't film other people without their permission. Clips showing children must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
  • A gig shows a pay amount. You are paid that amount if the business selects your clip. Clips that are not selected are not paid.
  • When you are paid, you grant the business that posted the gig a 12-month, non-exclusive license to use the clip in its advertising, in any medium, with the right to edit and caption it. You keep ownership.
  • You don't post the clip yourself. It's the business's ad, not your content.
  • Payments are sent by Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal to the details you give us. You're responsible for your own taxes; over $600 in a year we'll ask for a W-9.
  • We can remove clips or close accounts that break these rules, and hold payment for clips we believe were not genuinely filmed by you.

If you post gigs

  • You prepay the pay amount for each spot, plus our fee ($10 per spot; waived on your first gig). Only clips you select are charged; the rest is refunded.
  • Selecting a clip is final. It triggers payment to the person and your license begins.
  • The license is 12 months, non-exclusive, for advertising. It doesn't include the person's name or endorsement beyond what's in the clip, and it doesn't allow claims the person didn't make.
  • You may not contact the people who submit clips outside ExperiaView, and you may not download or use clips you haven't paid for.
  • We review every gig before it goes live and can decline any gig for any reason.

Everyone

  • One account per person. Don't share logins.
  • We provide the service as-is and can change or stop it. If something goes wrong our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 30 days.
  • Texas law applies. If we have a dispute, we'll try to sort it out by email first.
